Kohala Winds of Change is a Chinese medical practice and the Big Islands only source for rare, artisan Chinese teas. We are located in the town of Hawi, which is on the northern tip of the Big Island of Hawaii. We have been in practice since 2004 and have enjoyed working in this unique place. Patients enjoy a soothing cup of tea before treatment and often times they’ll linger afterwards for another nurturing cup.
We also carry an extensive collection of fine teaware and accessories to allow you to experience the serenity of our tea rituals in the comfort of your own home. We are happy to share our knowledge and enthusiasm for this ancient practice. Whether you have an appointment or are just curious about our teas we invite you to visit us here in beautiful Hawi.
Hawi is a special community that is rich in Hawaiian culture and traditions; a place where bonds between family and friends are deeply valued. Our practice has been enriched by the many relationships we have developed with so many people, all in the name of healing.
While our practice encompasses all levels of traditional Chinese medicine we have specific expertise in the fields of sports medicine, pediatric medicine, and herbology.
